4th of July 2013

HAPPY 4th of JULY!!!

I would like to thank my husband Keith and all the other military  men and women past and present for all the sacrifices they have made for us to be able to enjoy all of our FREEDOMS!!  Today has been a wet, wet day in Georgia!  I don't mind the rain.....it's just that I haven't felt like doing nothing all day..except laying around!  LOL   So I finally got the crafty bug late this evening.

My husband, Keith, went into the Marine Corps when he was 18, straight out of high school!  He served proudly for 20 years and retired in 2000.  I loved being a marine wife and moving every 3 years was so much fun for me!!  I miss it a lot!

He looks so happy after graduation.

I love this pic!  He looks so serious and dedicated!

I think he looks like this embellishment that I found!   LOL

His Mom, Dad and Aunt Gladys came to support him!  I didn't know him then, but if I did, I would have been in this pic too!   LOL

He did boot camp at Parris Island, South Carolina.  Here is a picture of the mascot that was there at the time.  He is an old English bulldog and his name is Thor.

I hope you like my post and my pictures.  Thanks for stopping by.  I hope you all had a very safe and happy 4th!
