HAPPY 239th BIRTHDAY MARINE CORPS

Hello Crafty friends!  I meant to post this last week....but I totally forgot.  My husband Keith retired from the Marine Corps in 2000 after serving 20 years!!  WOW!!  He has been retired 14 years! I am so proud of him and all of his accomplishments!  I enjoyed going to the various Marine Corps balls throughout the years!  This was our first ball together in 1985 in Marine Corps Air Station Cherry Point, North Carolina!  Boy, we were so young then!  LOL
I made this letter holder for Keith to place on his desk.  This was my first mod podge project.

I do hope you like my project!  I love how it turned out and I see more mod podge projects in my near future!
Thanks for stopping by......I do hope you will come back again really soon!

Sticky Notes Holder

Hi Crafty friends!  I have seen a lot of people creating sticky notes holders so I decided to give it a try. I have 2 different takes on it. One version is a plastic holder and the other is a stand up card.

I do hope you like my projects!  Thanks for stopping by!  Hope to see you soon.

Guest designer on MCT!!

Hello Crafty friends!  I am so excited to be a guest designer on Miss Emma's blog!  I have loved her line of stamps and dies on My Creative Time for the past 2 years!  Miss Emma and her design team members are so very talented and AWESOME!!  So this really means a lot to me!  Now on to my projects for today.  I used items from her 34th July Release.  I really like the Fun Speech Bubble stamps and die set.  I also used her surprise pop out card die.  I used pop dots to add dimension to the speech bubbles and to the heart.
The picture below is the inside of the card where I used the stitched gift card pocket die.  On the outside of the pocket I used stitched sweetheart & xoxo dies.
I put a Zoo Atlanta membership card in the pocket...I love to go to  the zoo!
This is the card opened up.  I really love how it flips out.
I also made a keychain with the same dies and stamps on shrinky dinks!  I love to use strinky dinks!
I added the same paper on the card to the back of the keychain.  The pic does NOT do it justice...it really did come out great!
Thank you so much for stopping by!  And thank you again Miss Emma for the opportunity to be a guest designer!  I do hope you will come back to visit my blog!
