More Christmas cards and glass etchings.....
Hello my Crafty friends! I hope you are enjoying your weekend!! I am! We had an early Christmas dinner with some friends last night and today was very low key! I finally put my tree up and some other decorations around the house. I really was not feeling it for some reason this year, but after going to my friends house and seeing all her beautiful decor and the joyous atmosphere, I was inspired to do mine! I tried to upload a video of some of my decor, but it wouldn't cooperate. Maybe I'll post pics tomorrow.......anyway.......
Here is my daughter Brandi with her friend Nikka who also acts and sings! She will be in 2 movies coming out next year!! So proud of her.
I hate to go to someone's house empty handed, even though I was told NOT to bring anything, I just had to take them gifts and a card. Since Nikka sings, I put a microphone on her glass and her initial.
Her brother, Andrei, plays tennis very well, so I found a stick figure tennis player for his glass and his initial.
And their Mom, Manuelita, who is one of the sweetest people I have known, likes to drink coffee...so I made her a set of coffee mugs. So after dinner last night she and I enjoyed a cup of coffee in her new mugs!
I placed gold foil paper in the mugs so you can see the designs. I also made a few more cards too.
I love the look with the different backgrounds and borders.
That's it for me today....thanks for stopping by! I hope to see you soon! And may you be blessed over this Christmas season!! Be safe and come back by soon!

Hello Friend......
Hello my Crafty friends! One of my long time friends, Joyce, who is like a sister to me, wasn't feeling well, so I made her a card to cheer her up! She loved it! It brought a smile to her face!! Glad she's feeling better. I used a Tim Holtz die for the typewriter and a MCT teeny tags tag for the bottom sentiment.
The lower pic is not blurred.....it's on a wobble!! I love wobbles!! Wobble baby, Wobble baby! LOL
I embossed the card with an Anna Griffin folder.
The sentiment inside was a sticker from Anna Griffin. A Martha Stewart punch was used for the borders.
Well, that's it for me today! Thanks for stopping by! I hope you come back soon...and I would love for you to leave some feed back! I love reading your comments!

More glass etching!!
Hello my Crafty friends! I think I am in love with my air eraser tool!! I have been etching glasses like crazy!! I so enjoy it!! It gives me such a natural high to look at the things that I make.....then I think, WOW!! I did that? It feels so good! So here are a few more glasses I did this week!

My youngest daughter Brandi is in a sorority at church called EKO. For their Christmas party they had a White Elephant, so I made a glass with their Greek letters on it and the year 2013. I decorated a gift bag also. She told me that every one wanted the glass! It was swapped 3 times in the first 5 minutes!! LOL I got 3 orders too! :-)
Well, this is what I have been up to this past week! I hope you like my glasses I etched! It was so much fun! Thanks for coming by! I hope you come by again soon!

Glass Etching......air eraser tool!
Hello my Crafty friends! Today I am gonna tell you about my new toy! I love gadgets and the easier to use the better!
I was doing a blog hop and came across Julie's blog, http://www.simplysilhouette.com. On her post from October 20th, she talked about switching from the etching cream to the air eraser tool. I was hooked!! Sometimes when I had used the creams, and I have 4 different ones, they don't always come out perfect. They run or are not even etc...! I found a Harbor Freights store close and I bought the last small air compressor they had in stock. It was waiting just for me! I ordered my air eraser tool from amazon.
My daughter's dance group was having a Tricky Tray and she needed to donate a basket. Her dance instructor is Kimmie Gee who is a backup dancer for Beyonce!! The name of the class is Diva Dance.
I etched Diva on the wine glasses to represent the dance troop's name. The first 2 pics below I used the Sil etching cream....see how it smeared and ran? It could have been user error......

Wedding cards......craft lifted!
Hello my Crafty friends! So sorry I haven't posted in a while. I mentioned to you all that my youngest daughter has been bitten by the entertainment bug....well, this industry goes through spurts and cycles. The past few weeks has been in the busy spurt cycle! When I can, I will let you all know that has been going on...but for now, it's hush hush!
I was asked by a dear friend to make a card for her Mother who is going to a wedding. I really haven't made a wedding card before, so I was drawing a blank. I went to google and searched for wedding cards with Cricut and I came across a youtube channel for My Pink Stamper. Her approach was for a simple, yet elegant card.....and I loved it!! So here are my cards.

On the blue trimmed card, you can see that the black paper has a kind of shimmer to it...close up it looks a little bit like glitter....but not, if that makes sense.
I used glitter white paper to make the veils. I put pop dots under the images to give it dimension.
I even made matching envelopes. I think it adds a classy touch! Even if I do say so myself! LOL
Well, that's all for my post today. I do hope you like my cards and envelopes.
Thanks so much for coming by. Please come by again.....and I love to read comments! (hint hint)
